Help care for our animals all winter long.

The Zoo has faced unprecedented financial challenges as the result of the pandemic and we need your help to make it through the long winter ahead.  It costs $1.21 to provide food and veterinary care for each of our 1,400 animals each day.  Normally, we’re able to earn enough revenue during the summer months to cover our costs through the winter.  That isn’t the case this year.

We have a goal to raise $124,989 to cover the cost of food, veterinary care, and other Zoo needs for the months of November & December. Please consider making a gift in honor of your favorite Zoo animal today!

If you are looking for a way to celebrate or memorialize your loved one, consider making a gift toward the purchase of a recognition tile. The tiles are located on the donor wall located in the Australian Adventure Promenade area, near the Z.O.&O. Train Station.

Your gift will support everything you love about the zoo, including operations, education programs, conservation efforts, exhibit enhancements, and amazing animal care.


The donation level to purchase a tile is $1,000. The tiles can be inscribed with a personalized message of up to 4 lines, with 14 characters per line (including spaces). Purchased tiles will remain intact until 2035 (minimum length). The Development Team will work with you to review and approve your tile message.
